Just a  brief reminder that our August seminar will be held on Friday 31st at a slightly later time of 5.30pm.  Please note that that we will be in the Rogers Room, Woolley Building, University of Sydney.  Please refer to Map (Ref 12E) for details.

This month our seminar will be a panel discussion on objectives and methods of teaching Buddhism at Australasian Universities.  The discussion will be led by Judith Snodgrass.  Speakers will include:

AABS 2007 Conference

Buddhist Studies: Australasian Contributions
Conference will be held on 3rd and 4th December at University of Western Sydney.  Contact Judith Snodgrass or Drasko Mitrikeski for further details.  Submission dates are as follows:

  • July 30 - proposals for papers and panels

  • October 30 - abstract of paper

  • November 15 - draft paper for distribution (optional)
