The University of Sydney and the Art Gallery
of NSW are hosting a symposium entitled 'Chinese Buddhist Art;
New directions and perspectives' on 29 and 39th August 2008.
The symposium in to be presented in
conjunction with the exhibition The lost Buddhas: Chinese
Buddhist sculpture from Qingzhou, 29 August–23 November 2008
at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.
