Dear list members,
Thank you to all those who have already
forwarded their 2009 membership fees and a brief reminder to
those that have not yet that AABS
membership for 2009 is now due.
Whilst the investment is modest, your support to date has enabled the AABS to grow from its formation in October 2005 into a vibrant
organization positioned at the center of Buddhist studies in
Australasia. Since 2006 the AABS supported a monthly seminar
series, an annual conference and has grown a regular bulletin
list to just on 600 subscribers.
In order to support the program of activities for 2009,
including our next annual conference, please renew your membership
as soon as possible. For those not yet members
now would be an ideal time to be part of the future development of
the association.
