AABS 2009 Conference - Expressions of Interest

Dear list members,

We are pleased to announce the 2009 AABS conference, Buddhist Studies: Australasian Contributions will be held on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th December at the University of Sydney.

We would like to invite AABS members, and interested scholars generally, to present their latest research and enjoy the opportunity to exchange information and ideas with their colleagues.  Please also encourage and, if possible, make arrangements for your postgraduate students to participate.

As in previous years, the presentations will be organized in panels. Each panel will be 90 minutes long, with 3 presenters given 20 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes discussion time.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided for both days. Dinner at neighborhood restaurants will be organized on both evenings.

Kind regards

Drasko Mitrikeski
On behalf of the AABS Executive
