Objectives |
The objectives of the AABS news list and bulletin are:
- to provide a channel for dissemination of information of interest and relevance to scholars in Buddhist studies in Australasia
- to distribute an email bulletin to our list members on a regular basis
- to provide access to a compiled list of bulletins on the AABS web site
It is anticipated news items will:
- be relevant to Buddhist studies
- have an academic focus
- be limited to Australasia in scope
- include but not be limited to information about; seminars, conferences, lectures, exhibitions, book launches, media interviews & documentaries, jobs, Buddhist studies courses and programs, AABS business
- major international Buddhist studies conferences
- include, where relevant, information from Buddhist religious organizations
- be at the discretion of the executive committee of the AABS
